About the Job

Resolve is seeking an Operations Associate to join our team during a period of critical growth. We’ve developed a proven business model and are now embarking on an aggressive push to expand our user base. The Associate will work closely with the Operations Director to ensure that our operational capacity keeps pace with growth while maintaining high service standards. This is a great opportunity for a sharp-minded, flexible individual interested in getting broad exposure to the many areas involved in running operations at a growing startup. Our goal is to develop your skill set so that you can take on a more specialized or senior role at the company within 6-12 months.

This is a remote job, though being within driving distance of Oakland, CA would be a plus.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Maintain updated creditor contact information in our company CRM (this includes calling creditors to collect new information)
  • Administer the distribution of notarized powers of attorney to creditors
  • Prepare settlement letters for negotiators
  • Send documents to creditors on behalf of members via mail, fax, and email
  • Monitor and file incoming faxes and emails from creditors
  • Update and maintain creditor and user records in our CRM
  • Respond to questions from Resolve members via SMS and email
  • Create templates for user messages and user FAQs
  • Take on additional operational tasks as needed

Process Improvement & Standardization

  • Learn and apply process improvement techniques to identify and solve key operational problems
  • Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Help design operational job aids and related documentation
  • Assist with training and performance tracking for the Operations Team
  • Work with the engineering team to automate operational processes

Special Projects

  • Conduct ad hoc research projects on potential software tools, user behavior, financial resources for users, competitors, alternate business practices, etc.
  • Conduct other clerical, administrative, and analytical tasks and projects as needed

  • You have at least 2 years’ experience working in an office environment
  • You have a private space to do your work (this is a remote position)

Compensation

  • $20-30/hr depending on experience (exempt position)
